A Thames Estuary Member is someone who is a paid up member of the MLAGB, and decides to shoot at the Basildon Rifle & Pistol Club ranges, or indeed any other range.
Thames Estuary members are entitled to enter Thames Estuary Branch competitions and receive medals and trophies where appropriate.
Basildon Rifle & Pistol Club members, who are not members of the MLAGB, are entitled to enter the Thames Estuary competitions. They can win medals where appropriate but they are not entitled to win the trophies. Where a non MLAGB shooter wins a competition, the trophy will go to the top scoring MLAGB member.
The normal £5 annual fee, that has been in the past been referred to as the "branch fee", is in fact only a charge made for the use of the target boards, and any "black powder" shooter who shoots on the regular pistol and/or rifle section sessions can pay the £5 and use the targets on both the 25m and 50m ranges, but only for shooting black powder firearms.
* Details needed - Please email James with the information. Many thanks.
